Made with Tender Gourmet Butchery’s premium lamb mince, these koftas are juicy, flavourful, and easy to prepare. Pair them with garlic yoghurt and fresh herbs for a meal that’s both comforting and exotic.
1. Ingredients

- 500g Tender Gourmet Butchery Lamb Mince
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 small onion, finely grated
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil, for brushing
For the Garlic Yoghurt:
- ½ cup Greek yoghurt
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Juice of ½ a lemon
- Salt to taste

Let’s get cooking! Follow these steps to make juicy, flavour-packed koftas in no time.
- Prepare the Kofta Mixture: Combine all ingredients in a bowl, mix well, and shape into small oval-shaped koftas.
- Preheat the Grill: Heat a BBQ or grill pan over medium heat. Lightly brush the koftas with olive oil.
- Grill the Koftas: Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
- Make the Garlic Yoghurt: Mix all yoghurt ingredients in a small bowl.
- Serve & Enjoy: Serve koftas with warm pita bread, garlic yoghurt, and a simple tomato & cucumber salad.
Cooking Tips
- If using bamboo skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- Add chilli flakes for a spicy kick.
- These koftas can also be cooked in an air fryer at 200°C for 12 minutes.
